On Tuesday, 15th December, Ryde Chorus will be leading a Come and Sing performance of that all-time Christmas classic, Handel’s Messiah, in All Saints’ Church, Queens Rd, Ryde, PO33 3BG. Everybody’s welcome, whether you come as a singer or an audience member.

This year, there’s a twist. If you want to join the chorus for this performance, but feel nervous about the music, come and join us for a series of brief rehearsals to familiarise yourself with this glorious piece of music and get ready for the concert itself!

Starting on 3rd September 2026, you can join the Ryde Chorus rehearsal of music from Messiah from 7.15pm to 7.45, at the Isle of Wight United Reformed Church, Upton Road (on the corner of Corbett Road,) Haylands, Ryde, Isle of Wight PO33 3LE. You’ll be introduced to this masterwork, learn about performing it, and meet lots of fellow singers to sing with and gain encouragement from.
